Over sixty years of industrial activity have shaped a way of working that goes beyond supply: Grupporeco enters a customer's project at the design stage and stays alongside it through industrialisation, production and growth. Specialised knowledge of product and process development, and of the core markets, is what qualifies Grupporeco as a solid, long-term industrial partner.
The plants are Grupporeco's local presence on the ground, sharing common process standards, skills and quality systems. Product development, equipment engineering and technological oversight are corporate functions, working across all sites.

HISTORY
1962Foundation
Tecnofil is founded in Civate (Italy) as a spin-off of a trading and artisanal business established in the early 1900s, starting production of shelves and baskets for the refrigeration industry.
1973A new identity
Tecnofil becomes Remsa, the Italian operation that today serves as the Group’s technological and innovation hub.
1985Becoming a group
The acquisition of Condenser in Ispra (Italy) turns the company into a Group, extends the range to steel wire-on-tube evaporators and marks a strategic shift: from purely functional and aesthetic parts (shelves and baskets) to circuit components active in the appliance’s functioning, establishing Grupporeco as a key supplier to the industry’s leading players.
1997Entering dishwashing
Building on its established expertise in steel wire processing, the Group enters the dishwasher market, growing its leadership from the ground up.
2004Poland greenfield project
Reco Polska is established to replicate the Italian processes of both Remsa and Condenser locally, following customers as they reconfigure their operations geographically.
2014Into the aluminium industry
The acquisition of Aro Tubi Trafilerie’s operations in Italy and Poland gives rise to the Arotubi B.U., taking the Group into precision aluminium extrusion and aluminium heat exchangers production, and renewing its long-standing leadership in heat exchange.
2022North America greenfield project
Reco NC is founded as a Greenfield operation, once again to stand alongside strategic customers geographically as part of a long-term global relationship. Grupporeco becomes a leader in dishwasher rack production in the United States as well.
