US
Remsa was founded in 1962 in Civate as Tecnofil, initially specialising in grids and baskets for domestic and commercial refrigerators and freezers. Dishwasher rack production began in 1997, starting a line of business later extended to Poland and the United States. To keep pace with the growth of the new business, the plant moved to Costa Masnaga in 2002, more than doubling its production space, and in 2014 it took on the Italian aluminium operations acquired from Aro Tubi Trafilerie.
Sixty years of industrial activity have made Remsa the technical reference point of the Group, and its multi-technology manufacturing base in Italy.
At Costa Masnaga, both of Grupporeco’s technological souls converge: Arotubi’s aluminium, with its extrusion and machining processes, and Remsa’s long-standing steel wire operations
