Grupporeco’s American project took shape between 2018 and 2019, with the decision to build a new production facility to address a structural shortage in the local market and serve US customers as a qualified strategic partner.
Between 2020 and 2023, Grupporeco launched a full Greenfield project: from acquiring land in North Carolina to building a 200,000 sqft facility entirely from the ground up. The new plant in Kinston (NC) quickly became a strategic reference point and now stands as a cornerstone of the Group’s production footprint, designed to replicate European standards in terms of technology, quality, and process reliability.
The expansion into the United States enables Grupporeco to continue its growth trajectory, strengthen its international presence, and lay the foundation for further developments in a region rich with future opportunities.
